Your data stays in your region.
Region-specific infrastructure pins any data you choose to the region you choose - and eliminates all ingress and egress costs from your cloud. Data residency and a smaller cloud bill, in one move.
How it works
WarpBuild provisions runner infrastructure in the region you select. Any data you choose - caches, artifacts, logs - is stored and processed in that region only. Because runners sit next to your registries, buckets, and services, your cloud no longer bills you for data moving in or out.
Why region-specific infrastructure?
Compliance teams get residency. Finance gets a smaller cloud bill. Engineering changes one runner label.
Data Residency
Choose a region, and any data you choose stays in that region. Source code, caches, artifacts, and logs never leave it.
- Pin data to any AWS or GCP region
- Caches and artifacts stored in-region
- Meet GDPR and regional compliance requirements
- Pairs with GitHub Enterprise data residency
Zero Ingress / Egress Costs
Runners live in the same region as your data, so cross-region and internet data transfer charges from your cloud disappear entirely.
- ECR / GAR image pulls without transfer fees
- S3 / GCS reads and writes stay in-region
- No NAT gateway processing charges for build traffic
- Not applicable to macOS instances
Compliance Without Ops
Get the residency guarantees auditors ask for without running your own runner fleet.
- SOC2 Type II certified infrastructure
- Single-tenant, ephemeral runners
- Fully managed by WarpBuild
Same WarpBuild Performance
Region pinning doesn't slow anything down. If anything, builds get faster because data is closer.
- Warm pools and <10s job starts
- Unlimited concurrency
- Lower latency to your in-region services
Where the savings come from
When builds run outside your cloud region, every image pull, artifact download, and dependency fetch is billed as data transfer. In-region, those line items go to zero.
Zero ingress/egress applies to Linux and Windows runners. It is not applicable to macOS instances, which run on dedicated Apple Silicon hardware outside your cloud.
Available on enterprise plans
Region-specific infrastructure is part of the WarpBuild enterprise plan, alongside Dedicated Cloud and BYOC. Tell us your region and we'll handle the rest.
